Right of withdrawal

Subject to the exceptions stated at the bottom of this informative text, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 calendar days, without giving reasons. This is the so-called withdrawal period or reflection period. This right only applies if you made the purchase as a consumer.


Grace period
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you (not being the carrier) took delivery of the product. In case several products have been ordered, the day of the withdrawal period only starts the day after you have received the last product.


Exercising the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us BIGtruckshop A67, Nobisweg 5, 5721 VA Asten or by mail [email protected] by an unambiguous statement (e.g. in writing by post or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You can also use the European model withdrawal form for this purpose, but use of this form is not obligatory. This form can be downloaded via the link below this text. It is therefore important to inform us within the withdrawal period that you are invoking the right of withdrawal.


Consequences of the right of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, you will receive all payments made by you up to that point (for the part affected by the withdrawal), including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the extra costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery), back from us without delay and in any event not later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
We will then reimburse you using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. There is no charge for carrying out the refund. We may delay the refund until we have received the relevant products back or until you have proved that you have returned the products, whichever occurs first.


Returning the products after revocation
After revocation, you must return or hand over the products to us without delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your revocation. You have fulfilled this obligation if you return the relevant products before this 14-day period has expired. The direct costs of returning the products are for your own account.
However, we do offer a reduced rate for returns in some countries. Please contact us for this and we will send you a link that allows you to print a label yourself.


Return process

  1. You can register your return using the return form below.
  2. You will then receive an email from us confirming receipt of your return notification.
  3. Print the receipt of your return notification and send it with the parcel.
  4. Make sure your package is well packed and preferably in the original shipping box and send your package to:

Important: the cost of returning will be at your own expense. You are responsible for ensuring the product reaches us so we recommend registered mail.


Loss of value and damage
You are liable for loss of value of the products resulting from use other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products. If this is the case, we are entitled to offset this loss of value against the amounts we would have to refund to you. It is therefore important that you handle the product carefully and cautiously during the cooling-off period. We also request that you always return the products with their original packaging, insofar as this is reasonably possible.


Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply with regard to:

  • the delivery of items that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life;
  • the delivery of goods that are not suitable to be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seals have been broken after delivery (think: canned food, cosmetics);
  • customised products or products clearly intended for a specific person (think: a printed Tshirt);
  • audio and video recordings and computer software of which the seal has been broken after delivery (think of: a sealed DVD containing a certain film);
  • newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of an agreement for the regular delivery of such publications (think: a single issue of a magazine or newspaper).
